Grandkids Camp 2016
THEME: Happy Campers!
Our 2nd Annual Grandkids Camp invitations included a throwback pic to the previous year!
Opening Ceremony
Grandkids Camp always begins with a full family gathering! This year’s swag-bags were these fabulous fanny-packs for hands-free hauling of all the treasures we took on our adventures.
Activities
We added three little happy campers to our crew this year. We invited their parents to help us include them in some activities. The rest of the activities were designed for the three oldest grandkids.
- Camping
(The Spruces Campground, Big Cottonwood Canyon Utah) - Hiking
(Donut Falls, Big Cottonwood Canyon Utah) - Crafts & Games
- Water Park
(Cowabunga Bay, Draper Utah) - Birthday Celebrations
Closing Ceremony
The whole family gathers for Closing Ceremony activities. Breaking a pinata is a favorite, so it’s now an annual tradition! We load the Grandcampers with more sugar, more love, and more indulgence before we send them home with their parents. That’s one of the benefits of being a GRANDparent instead of a parent! Haha!
Preserving Memories
Our favorite way to make each camp a treasure to remember is by creating a Grandkids Camp Book filled with photos, artwork, and narrative to capture our adventures.
