Grandkids Camp 2019
THEME: A Cousins Carnival!
This invitation and attached ticket gave each grandkid admission to A Cousins Carnival!
Opening Ceremony
The whole family gathers for Opening Ceremony where the grandkids of every age get a tee-shirt and a swag bag full of fun items to use throughout camp!
Activities
This year, our five oldest grandkids were all capable (potty-trained! haha) of joining in the carnival contests and cabin camping!
- Cabin in the mountains by a reservoir: water trampoline; campfire cooking
(Rockport Reservoir, Peoa Utah) - Hotel and adventures in Olympic Park: swimming; ping pong; zipline; ropes course
(2002 Winter Olympic Park; Park City Utah) - Carnival games and prizes: bean bag toss; guessing booth; knockdown; ring toss; pick-a-surprise prize
- Crafts: painted rocks tic-tac-toe
Closing Ceremony
The whole crew meets together to say good-bye to Grandkids Camp for another year. And this year, we also say hello to a new granddaughter born on the second day of camp! Yippee!
Preserving Memories
The more years go by, the more fun it is to look back and see how everyone has grown! It also sparks sharing memories and favorite moments, funny times and silly jokes. We capture these memories in the journal pages written by the grandkids, which are part of the 8×8 hard-cover books Grandma puts together for each family.
